Aminnah Body Care (Whipped Body Butter, Body Scrub, Body Oil and more) - Review

 Aminnah has made using body care items fun and with some really great ingredients for hydrating and keeping the skin soft and smooth. I was sent a few products to try from Aminnah and give my review on.  The newest product launch from e.l.f. is going viral and can definitely be a dupe for a higher end sun care product. The e.l.f. Skin Suntouchable! Whoa Glow Sunscreen has sun protection with SPF 30 along with also being makeup primer. It's infused with Aloe, Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane to keep the skin looking glowy while helping makeup to last all day long. My Current Skincare Faves: Yes To, Thayers, Sweet Chef, Pixi Beauty

 It has been so long since I've sat down and written a post here, but I wanted to jump back in and share my recent skincare favorites. These are products that I have been using on a daily basis and they the combo of all these products has been working out so good for my skin. There are definitely other products that I use either in the morning (SPF) or at night (night cream) but I'm just showing a few that have really been my absolute faves for the past few weeks. Let me share about each product and why they are the VIP products of my skincare routine. 

The Thayers Facial Mist ($11) is something I will use at the end of my skincare routine, but I wanted to share this first. I love that it is formulated with Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel Extract to help calm and soothe the skin. I have been using the unscented one, and this works best for me since I can be allergic to certain scents in skincare. It's great to use any time of the day and I like to use it before I do my makeup to help my concealer and foundation to not look dry or cakey. Definitely gives this a try if you haven't. 

An eye cream is important in my skincare routine and I have noticed a difference when using the Yes To Avocado Daily Eye Cream ($10). This product was not a fave of mine at first. I felt like it was too lightweight and was just okay the first few times of using it. But now that the weather has been warmer, this is the perfect eye cream BECAUSE it is lightweight. I love that it's fragrance free and I notice a difference under my eyes when I use it vs. when I forget or skip. It keeps everything hydrated all day long and doesn't mess with my concealer that i put on. 

The Sweet Chef has some amazing products and I love their Kale + Vitamin B Serum Shot ($19.99). It has more of a milky consistency but feels nice on my skin. It helps the dry areas while still being gentle and hydrating on my sensitive skin. I'm almost half way done with it, but I feel like it's worth it. Just so if anyone is wondering, this product is vegan and cruelty free. 

Can you tell I love this product? One of my most favorite skincare products is the Pixi Rose Ceramide Cream ($24). It is an intense moisturizer that is ultra hydrating and just makes the skin feel so buttery soft. If you have dry skin, you need this product. Don't think about the price because it is going to last. A little bit goes a long way. I feel like I've had this for ages and I still have a lot of product to go.

Wet N Wild Prime Focus Primer Serum - Review

Face primers are a great product to use to prep the skin before makeup application and can really make your look last all day long. I picked up the new Wet N Wild Prime Focus Primer Serum based on two things: I love the dropper packaging and it is said to be hydrating. Since my skin is on the dry side, I thought this would be perfect for my skin type and I would be able to get the hydration I need before doing my makeup routine. This did not work out like I had hoped and I will tell you why below.

Glow Recipe has recently launched a new three-in-one scrub to lip balm that will smooth, hydrate and tint lips in a universal shade of pink. I picked this up at Sephora and while this is a pricey lip product, I wanted to see how well this would actually work for those of us with dry lips. Glow Recipe Lip Pop is concentrated with watermelon, coconut sugar, and flower AHA to create this scrub-to-balm concept.
